The 4R36 Movement, I am no expert so i can only look at my watch and see from my computer it looses 6 seconds a day (i checked that a few days 6 seconds). The bit that moves around has no wobble. So those worries are gone.It is not so heavy to me, but it is a monster. But its not that big to me. This watch i bought to replace a old Seiko divers watch that was 30+ years old.I loved the cyclops i am 59 eyes need love, good dial easy to see, i loved the new winding, hacking and day, date adjustment. Metal watch strap is good, i have a big wrist. Its my main watch and does a great job. Only use another watch when chainsaw or other machinery farm work like that is my days labour. On the whole this is a good watch. I am not a watch snob. For a man who needs a all round watch, apart from chainsawing this will do. It does me good.Over six months and its the only watch now on my wrist. This is a good watch. I for get to adjust it because it does not drift from good time at all. This watch is the best watch I have ever owned and I have had automatics for 30 plus years. She is big thats why its a monster. :) Flawless watch.

I have several Seiko watches. This one is my best by far. Good look. Tough and very accurate.

I just received my watch and my first impression is that the it is well built and it looks good on my wrist. I'll give a more substantial review after wearing it for a few weeks.

Well, hate to brag....The one I received has perfect bezel alignment and the movement is right around -1 second per day.I used my Hako soldering iron to remove the cyclops. Put it on the cyclops for a ten count (one Mississippi, two Mississippi) then pushed off the magnifying bar with a PLASTIC scraper. Pushed not hit.Out of my SKX’s, turtles, Samurai... this is my favorite Seiko Automatic. Hands down. No second thoughts. Love the bracelet. In fact, this is the only watch I wear on a metal bracelet. That says something.Hope you get a perfect alignment accurate piece like I did. Wow. Worth the dough all day.Don’t own a seiko? Just get this one and forget the rest. Seriously.

The media could not be loaded.  This watch was definitely chunkier than I was expecting when I ordered this Seiko. I was also very hesitant about the offset crown. But after daily (and nightly) wear I am quickly falling in love with it.I have cooked with this watch, and it cleans up very nice. Also done some very mild home remodeling while wearing, and it seems pretty resilient to scratches.Although very comfortable, my first impression of the bracelet was cheap, and light. But after wearing it, I have no complaints with the bracelet. As to the time keeping, it keeps remarkably good time. I’ve yet to adjust the time, which was surprising. Overall, I have no problem recommending.

Wanted to get my hands on my first automatic and this was my choice. I don’t actually dive which is why I gave the rating I gave about water resistance. The watch looks amazing and the lume is amazing as well. The bezel is aligned well. Only true gripe with the watch is the cyclops for the day date window. Only true detract of the watch. Would highly recommend to any watch enthusiast or just someone who wants a good automatic.

The media could not be loaded.  Received my new seiko monster today! Missing the cyclops.. Has residue of glue on it.

Used for Daily wear. Have not used underwater so I cannot rate that. Comfortable and easy to set and read. Accuracy as good as my Omega.
