This was prettier than I expected for the price. It is 8mm or 1.5 ct so it's bigger than I expected as well. I think I would have preferred a little smaller for my fingers, but it is beautiful.

It’s hard to picture carat size when you can’t see it on someone’s hand. The pictures make it seem like a much more realistic size, but it’s very large and gaudy in my opinion. It also seems much more “square” than in the photos, if that makes sense. The photos almost seem to make it look like a princess cut that’s kind of leaning towards a cushion cut, but it’s definitely princess. It’s okay, just too fake looking for me personally.

I think the sizing was fine, I am between size 6-7 but went with the 7. I received this ring in the mail at the end of Feb. 2020 and have worn it for a few weeks since then. I notice that the gold plating has starting coming off. I somewhat expected this to happen over time, maybe not this quickly. I do remove the ring before washing hands and showering. Aside from the gold color coming off at random spots, I think the design is great, nice and simple.
