Great product for the price. This was purchased to hold a string of pearls. The pearls stay put and don’t move about or rub on each other. Very nice quality for the price.

So I ordered this thinking it was one of those really luxurious feeling type jewelry presentation boxes or holders that you get from a jewelry store made of real leather or at-least nice quality fake leather after purchasing an expensive piece but it’s not. It’s quite light weight and made out of PU leather that feels sort of plasticity and could peel off within some time. It has a satin interior and buttons that hold the necklace in place. This wouldn’t work as well for a “presentation box” to gift for someone, BUT it is really great for travel use because it is slim, expands once opened and can fit in a handbag, luggage or duffel bag for carrying your jewelry. So it depends on what you would need this item for!

For our 40th anniversary my husband bought me a Ruby necklace from a high end jewelry store and in came in a envelope like this. For our 45th anniversary he bought me a beautiful sapphire necklace from a different jewelry store and it came in a box. I relay love the envelope so I ordered this for the sapphire necklace. It is very nice (not as nice as the one that came with the Ruby necklace). I'm very happy with it and my sapphire necklace looks very nice in it.
