For me personally I have never cared for gold. The issue with silver is that the oil in my skin tends to cause it to tarnish. That is why I like the stainless steal chains. Has a look identical to silver. Without the issue of tarnishing. Plus a fraction of the cost.

If you're looking for something silvery, this isn't it. The color of this is much more of a greyish steel (but still shiny). This isn't surprising because it's advertised as stainless steel. However, it's only very weakly magnetic. The lobster clasp is the most magnetic part. So I'm not sure what it's made of.Speaking of the lobster clasp, this isn't a very high quality one. The spring in mine is somewhat defective, it doesn't always close all the way. So make sure to check that after you've put it on.The pattern on the chain is nice, I think it's pretty interesting. The chain has some weight but doesn't feel too heavy. I think it has a nice length.

This necklace is very good quality. It could pass as white gold. It has the quality lobster claw clasp and it’s durable enough to wear all the time. It is a great value

This is an extremely well made chain. I know quality jewelry. I used to make quality jewelry for Tiffany & Co. The quality of this chain is on a par with those made by the luxury brands. The only really difference is material. Nobody will mistaken this for silver. This is grey where silver is white. But you might get away with saying this is platinum but not to a jeweler. In any case, if you are not rich like I am not rich but still want a quality chain that will look good then this is a good choice. Based on my examination under magnification I have to say this is probably going to last me for the rest of my life. The finish is lustrous, well polished and the clasp went together quite well. I will be using this to hold a stainless steel pendant and will probably interchange it with other pendants as well.I highly recommend this for a masculine look that will hold up over time both by itself and for hanging a heavy (up to perhaps an ounce or so) pendant.

This chain looks amazing when worn. It needs no other decoration, yet it fits in nicely with other necklace styles in layered lengths. I’ll likely just keep it on, as it won’t quite slip over my head. I sometimes have trouble hooking a chain while around my neck.I really don’t want to change the look by adding an extension. And it’s comfortable enough to stay on most of the time.I really like this weight, and it fits well with other favorite chains I wear.I will consider finding another figaro chain of the same weight, but longer. It’s a good size for holding a pendant.I’m really glad I ordered it in this size. It’s a length I don’t always bother wearing. But it hangs there so we’ll.
