The ring is pretty, but the pictures are misleading. If you're buying this as a pretty ring that you'll wear once in a while, that will remind you of the books/movies go for it. If you were wanting something that you could wear more often, keep looking. It looks cheap if you turn it over. The top and bottom of the ring look like they were saudered together and not like they were made as one piece. $50 is a little steep for the quality and speed of shipping (which took 3 weeks)
