I like the look of this necklace and that it doesn't have the ability to look twisted if it should get twisted a bit. There is no freely rotating pieces, so this annoys me on necklaces where it shows. The look is gender neutral. The necklace feels solid and has some weight to it. I don't like the clasp. It's way too tiny and difficult to open and close. I might put a different one on it.

This necklace was nice but it did look 'fake'. I've had plated jewelry that looks realistic but this gave off a fake look. I think it is better suited for costume of dress up.

This is a nice budget chain, it’s just a little overly flashy for my tastes because of how shiny it is. The clasp is a little small and hard to manage unless you have nimble fingers, but it looks nice, the finish is consistent and so are the links. Wears well and isn’t insanely heavy. Could make a good stocking stuffer!

This chain is definitely unisex. I got this for my son who's a young adult for his birthday. It came in a black velvet drawstring bag so it's ready to gift. The chain was a lot thicker and heavier than I was expecting. It's very shiny and I was a little worried that it would look fake but once he put it on it looked great on him. I went with the 20 inch chain which falls right below his neck. The chain is too thick to put most pendants on unless you have a big jump ring. He just wanted a gold chain to replace the one that broke and this was perfect. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product and would purchase it again. It's a classic gold chain. Five stars!

This review is of the 24-inch silver plated chain.This silver-plated chain is thicker than I expected at 4.4 mm. It is much too thick to go through the bale of most pendants. The chain is brilliantly shiny, more so than some older sterling silver jewelry that my wife has which has developed a patina over time. It also feels dense and substantial, weighing 40 grams. The chain comes with a plastic bag that holds a small anti-tarnish strip.There is a typical clasp present which requires some dexterity to open. The chain is smooth and is comfortable against the skin. The silver plating may wear off over time with repeated wear, but for the moment the chain looks very showy. It would be suitable as a standalone necklace for women or with other shiny objects as gaudy bling for men that wear jewelry.
