These feel like cheap acrylic, and they have a -strong- paint thinner / chemical stench. Absolutely terrible. I've tried to wash them several times with dish soap and water, sterile saline solution, nothing will make the smell go away.Also, the back of the plug does -not- have a groove cut into it for the o-ring. Meaning the o-ring slides right off. Cheap garbage.

The media could not be loaded.  I always love Pierced Owl’s plugs selection! When I saw that these were made of buffalo bone, I had to have them! I’m normally into black or metal plugs, but these were to me hard-core! Definitely not acrylic. And definitely worth the purchase.Thanks Pierced Owl!

Love the plugs. I got them in 19mm and they fit perfectly. They definitely are not bone, most likely acrylic. Also, there isn't a ridge at the back to hold the o-rings, which are very cheap. I ended up using my own.

The media could not be loaded.  These are pretty nice, super lightweight and they went in totally fine once my ears are ready to stretch. I do not generally stretch with bone, I usually stretch with glass only because it’s the most comfortable and I know bone can be porous so it is recommended against using for stretching because pores in material can breed bacteria so hopefully I don’t encounter any issues while these are healing

Definitely feel acrylic. And also, not the size I ordered. But alas, I still wear them and they’re alright. Plain white plugs for a low price.
