Being a dangling ring, I wasn't sure how well the hanging "gems" would fare. The two flowers on the sides don't hang. Instead, they're simply held in place by the metal wire. I wasn't sure how these would do either.However, I quickly learned that neither of these was the issue. Interestingly, the first gem to fall off was from the butterfly. It fell off within the first 12 hours of wearing the ring. After one week, nothing else has fallen off.If I had to guess, it's probably a quality control issue (since the other "wing" didn't fall off). Rather disappointing since I liked the look of this one. Even so, I'll probably get another one and roll the dice.On the plus side, it's comfortable to wear.
