It was too short for my tongue piercing to feel comfortable wearing, and my piercer also told me that threadless jewelry can be dangerous to wear in a tongue piercing because of the possibility of swallowing the pointed piece if it were to come apart. The quality and shine are awesome though. I wish it came in a slightly longer & internally threaded option.
