I just received this jewelry and tried it on, so I can't speak to its longevity, but I'm super happy to have finally found a barbell length (8mm / 5/16in) that fits my shallow belly button!It's a simple barbell with internal threading. The balls are a good size as well (the description says they're 4mm and 6mm which, for me at least, is much better than the standards of 5mm and 8mm for a 10mm barbell).On initial inspection, it seems like it's a good quality piece of jewelry. The threads on the ball didn't catch when screwing it into the barbell, and it doesn't feel like the ball will loosen easily. And it held up well when I soaked it for a minute or so in rubbing alcohol to sanitize it ... no metal flakes came off or anything.So, my first impression is that I love it! Hopefully it lasts for a long, long time.And if the sellers are seeing this review, please consider offering more 8mm barbell jewelry options in the future. I've had my belly button pierced for over 15 years and this is the first one I've found in a long time that actually fits correctly.
