I don't even notice these are in. I am always a bit afraid of the edges of bars like these being sharp and stabbing me, but these are not. They are very comfortable and I've had no problems with them! I'm highly allergic to nickel too so I can vouch that the metal is high quality like advertised.

True to size, looks like the product, works great in my ears. I have them on my upper cartilage piercings, where I like a longer bar. Has held up quite well in the last couple of months.
