Unfortunately the outsides of the pieces are polished but the insides are not, so if they are snug you won't be able to get them out of your ears without a lot of pain. Order at least a size down from where you are or be prepared to keep them in for a while.

I don’t usually write reviews but pay attention to this one and the others saying they get stuck in the ear. My ears are well healed and at 1/2” stretched. I used these hangers and I did not realize I should have either waited until they were more stretched or gotten a smaller size. There is an inner curve that will catch on your lobe if you are not careful. The photo is one I literally had to take a dremel tool to get it removed from my ear after being stuck there for weeks - not even my piercer could safely remove it without risking a tear or potential blowout. The usual tricks did not work, and they altered the shape of my lobe because of the curve. They’re a beautiful piece but for all that is loved and holy, please either caution with these.

So, I just got these, and I was hoping that they would be actual black agate. They are not. They are weighted black glass. When you tap them together, they clink just like glass. But, besides that, they are comfortable (not true to size as another person mentioned, but they are weighted enough so that they won't shrink your ears), they are a decent weight (another way to tell they are not stone is due to the weight. They are heavy, but not as heavy as natural agate). I mean, I'll keep them because they are nice, but they are NOT stone, NOT true to size, and NOT really that heavy :/

These get stuck and they hurts tremendously.. not sure how to get the out because of the inner circle .my lobes are on fire and very swollen…no response from seller when asked how to get them unstuck. Waters not working oils not working. Regret putting them in..
