The basic quality of the necklaces were nice but they definitely did not look like black pearls. They looked like what they are, Black ceramic (?) glass (?) beads. they have nice weight to them. Decided to return as soon as I saw them because I really wanted them to look like black pearls.

These faux pearls look and feel so much better than I was expecting! There is a nice weight to these necklaces and the beads are nice and big. Both necklaces have a shine to the beads and the black beads are particularly shiny. The length of these pearl necklaces is amazing! You can double loop the necklace around your neck or tie it in a knot or even dance with them swinging around your hands!The necklaces are super versatile and look great with regular dresses, too. I wear the white pearl necklace to church quite often and love running my fingers along the beads as a kind of fidget tool. These pearl necklaces are a great value and have a look and feel that is so much nicer than the cheap plastic ones. They are perfect for Halloween costumes, costume jewelry or for dress up jewelry for kids!
