I am a HUGE believer in the power of St. Christopher. I have always had a medal in every car I have ever owned and so far he has kept me and every member of my family safe. Since my son is starting on a truck driving career I bought this one for him to wear. The picture on-line does not do it justice -- It is a beautiful medal. St. Christopher is actually on a faintly colored background. Even with color, this is MAN's medal. It is large, but not too large. The chain is a nice weight for this medal - again, a man's chain. It is a sturdy, heavy weight chain that looks like it will hold up well for daily wear. Very happy with this purchase.

There was one issue I had with my purchase and that is the chain did not have a clasp. Nothing in the description indicated there was no clasp. It's difficult to put the chain on over my head. Maybe it's my fault but I just assumed there was a clasp and nothing in the description indicated otherwise. Waste of money.

Beautiful necklace, but my husband couldn't get it over his head. Good thing I make jewelry and could attach a clasp to get it over his head. Must be meant for children or small women.

I just recently became a godmother and this was the gift I got for my godson. I was very pleased with the quality and the blue background really does set this metal apart from the others I was looking at. I think this will be something he will actually wear when he gets a little older. I was very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others.
