This necklace is absolutely beautiful. I got it for a friend who's as big of a science nerd as I am and they loved it! I have no idea why other reviewers are saying the chain looks cheap--the chain is certainly delicate, but it's very well-made and beautiful. Like any nice piece of jewelry, handle it with care.I was also pleasantly surprised by the beautiful packaging--it came in a metal box with the dopamine molecular structure on it, and some nice tissue paper in the shipping box.(One note about the necklace length: it fits me perfectly as a woman, but one of my male friends wanted to try it on and could barely get it to close around his neck. So if you're buying for a guy/someone with a larger neck, get the 18 inch chain.)

Really nice necklace, great gift. Only problem was the postage, had to pay £12 to pick up parcel as tax was not paid, PO charges a massive fee- so be warned!

Got this for my girlfriend as a graduation present. She loves chemistry (pharmacy student) and loves the necklace. It's good quality and has lasted two months so far and she always has it on, so I don't expect it to suddenly lose quality. Highly recommend.

for almost forty bucks this product is not worth it. i love the symbol and its really cool but its all super cheap material. the chain looks like something that came out of a quarter machine and is too short to even fit comfortably around my neck. I am very disappointed. lots of other companies sell the dopamine symbol on necklaces. i suggest you try one of those.

I’m giving it two stars because it looks beautiful at first, very sturdy with nice packaging. I wore this for less than a week before the “Sterling Silver” plating completely wore off! Please see the pictures! I work with jewelry for a living. I’ve had cheap metal alloy charms last much longer before tarnishing! I do not shower with my jewelry on, either. This supposedly pewter/silver charm is a joke! Save your time and do not order! I will be returning this and purchasing a solid sterling silver one somewhere else!
