I bought these rings as an anniversary gift for my girlfriend, first I'd like to say SHE LOVED IT and the fact that they were matching and engraved with our names on the inner side was a definite plus for her and myself. These rings were bought by me at the least of 4 months ago and I am a workhorse, so you could imagine that cutting trees and splitting wood would put a beating on the ring, but I have not seen one chip of the gold colored rim around the edge, nor from the steel in the center. And to make it even better, the stone sitting in between the "forever love" has held down through it all. the engraving is great and very clear, you can tell it was done by a very precise machine, and the names are still clear as day, not once have they wore down so far and I believe they will continue to impress.
