I thought I wanted an inexpensive medical alert necklace for my rare fatty acid oxidation disorder along with taking blood thinners. And I loved the tree of life design. This necklace is VERY well made and came with a substantial chain. It also came engraved exactly as I had requested and it is easy to read. However it is really heavy and seems more suited for men. I will continue to wear it until I can find something a little more “delicate”.

I am not a bracelet type woman; therefore, this necklace was right up my alley. It's attractive (front is etch an of a tree) and not too large, and I liked it so well that I ordered another one in black, even though I had ordered sliver. The chain is nice and sturdy on both necklaces that I ordered; lays right where I would want to sit on my chest. You have the ability to put your name on one line, birthdate on another, and two more lines...on mine, I placed, "DO NOT RESUSCITATE", and on the last line room for a telephone number and my relative's name.
