When it first arrived the stone was milky white then as it warmed up on my finger the color came out! It is a beautiful blue/purple flare depending on the light.

this stimulated moonstone ring is very nice. it is made of sterling silver 925. you may ask what is the difference in 925 sterling silver and sterling silver. most pure sterling silver is not 100%, it's more like 99%. silver is a soft metal and needs to have a hard metal added to insure that the jewelry can hold it's shape. usually that other metal is copper. so 925 silver is better to work with when making intricate details on the piece of jewelry. and silver should always have a marking to show it is indeed silver. this ring has the 925 marking inside the ring. this ring is beautifully made and should last a lifetime.

This is a nice little ring. Fits well and is comfortable to wear. I would say it is true to size. I have short fingers and it is the perfect sized ring for small hands. I wear it just about every day. The moonstone is pretty. The setting is nice because it doesn't stick up too high.
