I received this ring about two weeks ago as a replacement for my lost, somewhat battered, white gold wedding ring. I do not take my wedding ring off so it has to stand up to whatever jobs I turn my hands to, something gold clearly was not up to. This was a big factor for me in choosing a tungsten ring.Appearance: This is a gorgeous ring. The tungsten is polished to a mirror finish and is rather darker than most of the "silver" metals, darker than stainless steel in color and much darker than white gold, platinum or silver. This is something to think about if you plan to pair this with another ring, the "metal" colors will probably not match. The concave design then has a flat bevel that angles to the curve edge leading inside the ring. The celtic dragon knot work design is intricate and beautiful but due to the mirrored surface and curve of the ring it is difficult to see and even harder to show to someone else as you have to catch the light just right to see it clearly. For me this discreet but stylish design is a plus but if you are looking for ring to show off, this might not be for you.Fit: I cannot comment on sizing too much, it seems to fit in the same way the sizing ring suggested it would on my finger. The 9 is a tight fit over my knuckle and then fits snug on my finger which I what I was hoping for. Incidentally tungsten is extremely difficult to cut or bend and cannot be re-sized or cut off in an emergency. Emergency removal usually involves cracking the ring. The ring is very comfortable. It has been a while since my wedding band got lost and my ring calluses had all healed but I have had no issues at all with this one. I have been building a fence, doing a lot manual work with various tools and have not worn gloves: this ring has not pinched or cut me once. The edge between the concavity and the bevel is quite sharp but on my fingers this has not been a comfort problem.Durability: It is early days yet and I will come back and update in a couple of months time on this subject but... this ring is tough. As I just said I have been building a fence during this time (looks like an on-going long term project) so have dug four deep post holes using a steel digging bar as well as used a number of other tools for various tasks. I could return this ring today in "As new" condition: there is not so much as a nick or scratch on it anywhere. Tungsten is actually a ceramic, tungsten carbide, not a metal and is much harder than steel. This may be a consideration for pairing this ring with something else. The tungsten will scratch and wear the other ring. So far so good... update later.Overall: I am extremely pleased with this ring: durable, elegant, comfortable and great value.

I specifically ordered this ring because I thought it was Titanium. I prefer Titanium and have several rings that are Titanium. It is more long-lasting than Tungston because Tungston is so brittle.Still, this is a truly gorgeous ring and I do like the weight (Titanium is more lightweight, and I prefer a heavier ring. Just do). Still deciding if I'm going to keep this or not. Again, it is beautiful, but if I can find a Titanium version, I might switch it out.

I purchased this ring after 14 years of marriage to the loveliest woman in the world. I've never been a huge fan of yellow gold but we got what we could afford at the time. This ring is a choice that I made without the same financial binders that once dictated our choice. This is something more suited to me.It is heavy, eye catching and seemingly indestructible. It also make a statement (if only to me) that my marriage is something that will not be formed or rather deformed by things that happen around me. (Gold being a much softer metal that often becomes misshapen through the years.) The change in material seems to reflect an even stronger resolve that "This will last!" A statement that I am proud to make.I also have what I call acidic skin. I react to cheap metals and the results are somewhat painful for me and destructive to the (usually a time piece) item worn. This is not the case with this ring.I really like the look of this piece and I am surprised by how much I enjoy the 8 mm wide band. (I think my original was 6 mm wide.)Amazon delivered this ring at a price that was almost unbelievably less than all of the well known jewelry stores in the area. $300.00 to $400.00 in some cases!Buy it. Wear it. Monetarily; a small investment but it should be a very proud statement and I believe you'll enjoy having it on as well.

Ordered this for my hubby for our 10th anniversary. It is so nice and he gets compliments all the time. The Celtic etching is quite subtle and that's what makes it unique, along with the concave design and the darker colour of the tungsten. He says it's very comfortable and the fit seems to be true to size. I was worried I might have to return it for a different size, and didn't have to in the end, but the company was very helpful and was willing to allow an exchange after the deadline, if needed. Very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this ring, especially when you would pay so much more in a retail jewellery store.

The ring is just as depicted on Amazon. The etching is eye-catching. On the inside, the comfort fit design makes it comfortable on my finger. I work with my hands and wear protective gloves all day. With that said, be aware that the concave design on the outside can make the ring dig into your surrounding fingers (e.g.-pinkie and middle finger). In addition, because of the concave design, the ring cuts the finger off of my work gloves in a relatively short amount of time. So, I can't wear the ring at work. All in all, I love the ring and makes a great fashion ring. I would not recommend it as a wedding band or one that is worn constantly...just my $.02...Hope that helps. This ring caught my eye as I was browsing. I decided to take a chance and order one, and it was well worth it. This ring is tough, so far impervious to scratches and dings, and it catches the light in a stunning way. The concave design is great, and the edges don't dig into fingers like some other beveled rings. The celtic knotwork pattern in the center is very tasteful, it adds a nice touch without overshadowing the rest of the ring. As far as the dragon design goes, you can only tell it's a dragon if you look closely. All in all, I would honestly recommend this ring to anyone, whether for personal style, a wedding band, or just to put in a display case (it does look that good). My sincere thanks to Bling Jewelry.
