The necklace chain is very thin and gets tangled easily. The clasp is not centered so it carries forward instead of being in the middle of neck. The pendant twists and gets tangled from the chain.

This is a very pretty necklace. The chain is fine and delicate. It has a lobster claw,clasp. The north star is small but compelling. The center diamond is tiny but sparkles. Packaging is impressive. Or at least it was until I opened the jewelry box. It came loose during shipping and was askew. Luckily it did not knot but it did negatively impact my impression. Overall I am quite happy with it.

The presentation with its beautiful red and black gift box; the nicely tied black ribbon bow; the beefy velvet jewelry box and the enclosed certificates; all was very impressive. I knew something beautiful was going to be inside. I have to say though, after the excitement of the wrappings, I was a bit disappointed with its contents. I expected better.The heart pendant with the diamond is beautiful, but it is TINY. And the chain ended up being a nightmare. It was all twisted up upon arrival, with a knot that took well over an hour to get out. I had tried everything I could think of to remove that knot. Finally, before I was ready to toss the thing, I found a helpful tip. Should this happen to you, dab a little olive oil on the knot. Lay the necklace and knot on a flat surface and use two needle points (one needle in each hand) to un-do the knot. This method works!!It’s needless to say that I will be chain shopping to find a replacement for this way too thin and, knot-friendly chain. Because of the size of the heart pendant, I know I won't be able to go much thicker.

This arrives in an nice outer box protecting the velvet with satin ribbon presentation box. It is dainty and has a quality feel to it. The chain is smooth, not irritating as some thinner link chains are and doesn't get bound up in the small hairs on my neck. It has 2 circle links for length wearing options. The longest on me,(I have a thicker neck at this stage in my life), comes mid chest, the shorter is closer to a choker on me. Something I expected was the pendant would be welded to the chain, I was pleasantly surprised that it is not This allows the pendant to move freely and self center as you move throughout the day, without having to adjust it. In case you are wondering the pendant will not slide off the chain, you would have to remove the clasp or circle links to do that. The lobster claw clasp is small with a stronger yet easy to work spring. I was surprised at how easy it was for me to work, even with extremely short nails. I typically have to open them with my teeth, I don't with this one. This is dainty enough, they don't stamp the necklace or pendant with "14K", instead it has a gold tag with the 14K and diamond carat weight attached to the chain. This is a beautiful quality piece which looks great on its own, or in groups. I don't believe you'll be disappointed.Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

This necklace was very lovely. I really liked it. The diamonds were pretty and sparkled very nicely. It was very comfortable to wear. It is nice to get the rose gold. The quality seemed good. It goes with just abou tanything. I think the Y shape is stylish. You can wear it on its own or layer it. I think this would make a lovely gift for any occassion and for any lady, young to old. It really was nice and I was very happy.
