I really like this necklace the color looks a little brown-ish in the official picture, but is actually more red irl. The clasp is a little hard to close when getting it on, but a jump ring will fix that. The length of the chain is great--not too long and not too short. The setting and the cut of the stone are very cool, unique.The necklace comes in a very nice gift box.

I love this beautiful necklace, a sturdy, well made silver chain with a sterling silver setting for the natural gemstone spessartite garnet, 4.908 carats, January's birthstone. I'm not familiar with spessartite garnets, but the stone in my necklace is much more on the brown side than the red side. Still, the stone is beautiful, and the setting is minimalist and simple, which is what I like in jewelry.The necklace has a solid 925 sterling silver chain which I believe is rhodium plated and is 16" long. The chain was very hard for me to put on the first time I tried, and it's still not too easy. I'll probably end up replacing the chain fairly soon because it's a good chain, but I like the stone and want it on something more secure. I also like a longer chain.The stone is very pretty, approximately 4.91 carats, and weighs approximately 2.57 grams. It comes in a nice gift box with a jewelry cleaning cloth. I can see red accents, for lack of a better word, in this stone, but it's still predominantly brown to me. I see garnets as a pure bright red, but this is a spessartite garnet, and I'm not familiar with those, so I'm not criticizing this, just commenting.I have the ring that matches this necklace, and the setting and stones are nearly identical. I like simple jewelry, and I much prefer a sterling silver chain to a gold-plated chain. The listing includes a reminder to keep your necklace away from perfume and to clean it regularly.Excellent product, a pretty sterling silver necklace and setting for a natural gemstone spessartite garnet, which I've never seen before. I have the ring that matches this necklace, and the stones and settings are identical, made of 925 sterling silver with a rhodium coating. The stones are pretty, and I love the simple settings, but the stones are more brown than red to me. Then again, I've never seen a natural gemstone spessartite garnet, so I didn't really know what to expect. There are hints of red in these stones, especially when you turn them under the light. This is a very well made necklace at a great price, and I'm sure I'll wear mine often. Highly recommend.

This necklace is dainty and gorgeous, and beautiful in its subtle design! The stone is large, pyramid shaped and slightly pointy, and sticks up more than I expected for it to. The stone is more reddish than the images portray, and the color is quite beautiful.The bezel setting of the stone is thick and strong, the join to the jump ring is nearly seamless, and the stone looks to be set quite securely.The bezel setting is clearly marked as sterling on the back of the jump ring, and the 16" chain is as well near the toggle. I am certain that the setting is rhodium plated due to the color and mirror shine of the metal, but I'm not sure that the chain is.The chain is a thin and simple chain that is included with most pendants so perhaps an upgrade later on is desired, and the jump ring has enough room for a somewhat thicker chain if desired.I also have the matching ring- the set stones of each could be clones of each other, and pair together perfectly.This necklace came in a nice little box that's good for gifting, along with a polishing cloth in an envelope. This is a pretty and dainty necklace. I’ve been wearing it for a couple days and i don’t like to wear things around my neck. I barely feel it and forget that it’s on. The facets are smooth and the color while dark isn’t the same as most garnets I’ve owned because it’s cloudy? It’s not easy to describe. Regardless, i like how simple it is as I’m a minimalist when it comes to jewelry.

This necklace is lovely. The square cabochon cut spessartite garnet is a rich deep orange color. The pendant and 18 inch cable chain necklace are both marked 925 for sterling silver. The rhodium plating is well done. The necklace was properly packaged in a long plastic zip top bag to prevent tangling and damage during shipping.
