I can't fairly knock a star off for something being smaller than I'd like, but I do prefer studs that are larger and drops that are longer. That said, I do like how you can remove the drops and just wear these as studs. While the snowflake shape is cute, it's also quite subtle, so you can get away with wearing it as something that is just a bit of art deco year-round. The pearl drops make it look extremely formal, though, so I save these for occasions when I need to tone down my jewelry.

The quality of these earrings is very good. I always hesitate to order jewelry online but I am very happy with these. I guess I didn't read deep enough but these can be used as just stud earrings or they have a dangling teardrop of a pearl that is added by slipping a loop over the post. I was not aware of this feature and I almost lost the teardrop when I took the earrings off. BE CAREFUL as it slides off very easily. The earrings are well made and look very pretty! It is nice to have the two options of stud or teardrop but again be careful not to lose the teardrop.

These earrings from WES are being used by our new-to-earrings teen. She likes them and they are a part of her regular rotation. They don't hurt or damage her ear, so that's a big concern for us. The fact that she likes wearing them is the second requirement. Thus, it's a win-win.

As soon as I saw these earrings, I knew I had to get them as a gift for a special friend. They were stunning and gorgeous, and the pearl drops are reminiscent of Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring".I know my friend will love and cherish these earrings, and the price on these isn't bad either! They're actually two sets of earrings in one, because the pearl drops are easily removed and they can be worn as silver snowflake studs on occasions when she doesn't want to make as much of a fashion statement. :)
