I have one complaint, I ordered gold and not silver color. I really love this necklace despite the wrong color being sent. Then I looked at the options the picture shows silver on the gold selection, and same with hovering over the gold says silver. So they got the item descriptions messed up. Please fix this so your customers get the color they pick.This is made with sterling silver or with gold plating if you get the gold one and sterling silver is the base. This can be worn by sensitive skin unless you are allergic to sterling silver. The pearl is dainty and perfect. When I rub it on my teeth it has the pearl texture feel I am looking for with an authentic pearl. Plastic will feel different and scrape paint off. Real pearls will have a scraping soft sandpaper feel to the teeth. Do not overdo this or you risk rubbing off your enamel.The last complaint I have is, the pearl pendant is put on in a way that would benefit left-handed who like to put their necklace clasps on the left side, this is not adjustable and you cannot take the pendant off without using tools to remove the chain stamp on the end which is just large enough to not be able to slide this off so you can reverse this. I do wish this part was interchangeable because I am sure many of us righties like to keep the clasp on the right side and hook on the left in the back.Unless the color and the photos are fixed, order the opposite color and maybe you will get the right one.

I was disappointed to see how small this pearl and chain were. It is a perfect size for a 4-6 year old girl! I tried to see if the size of the pearl was mentioned, and thought I had read it was 7mm, however my pearl earrings are this size and the pearl on the necklace was much, much smaller than my earrings. For this reason it's getting returned.

I have nothing but good things to say about this neckless. The material and craftsmanship that went into this neckless is stellar. Love how deep the color gold is. I believe this shade of gold helps make the pearl pop! Have had it for a couple of months now and it still hasn't tarnished or made me brake out. The price is fair. 5/5 hands down!

This is a lovely single pearl pendent for when you want something elegant but understated. This is exactly as described. FYI I tested the pearl. I worked for years making jewelry for a world renowned retailor of designer and luxury jewelry and have extensive experience with precious metals, gemstones and pearls. I wanted something simple for less fancy occasions but still have a nice look. But a lot of so called pearls are fake. At this price point it is not unusual to be scammed into buying a fake. Outright fakes are almost always made from some sort of plastic material. To test, heat up a sewing needle to over 500 degrees f. I did this by holding it over a flame with some pliers. Then carefully touch the point of the needle to a discrete location of the pearl. I touched the back where the pearl is mounted to the chain. Then push the point just a little bit into the pearl. If it goes right in easy, smokes or smells badly then it is not a real pearl. Plastic will yield to this test easily and will almost always give off smoke or fumes and smells badly from doing this. A real pearl won't melt. There are some faux pearls that will still pass this test. Some types of shell pearl will pass this test. So next you need a microscope and reference pearls to compare. A shell pearl under magnification is grainy and less lustrous. A real pearl has that lustrous pearl like shine and is not grainy under 10X magnification though at higher magnifications you can see a grain. As I also collect seashells I have three natural salt water pearls I have personally collected from the ocean that I use to compare with. A freshwater pearl will look nearly identical to a salt water pearl and are nearly as desirable so I count those as real pearls as this one is. I gave this description of the test and results so you know how I drew my conclusion. If there is a fake pearl that can pass both the hot needle test AND the microscope test I am not aware of it.Bottom line I am very happy with this pendent and recommend this maker as honest.
