I’ve been curious about magnet earrings so I thought I’d give this set a try. They are surprisingly comfortable and they are didn't seem heavy at all. Of course the biggest question is whether they are secure. I believe they are secure unless you catch your hair while brushing, they’d most likely come off at that point is my opinion. I love the fact that the back is the same as the front. This makes it much easier to place the back magnet on.The little pearls are set well but as you can see in the picture one of the magnets immediately fell out. Super glue fixed that but that is why I couldn’t give 5 stars. Recommend you give it a try.

Full disclosure, I have pierced ears, I actually got these to wear on my collars. I really love how they elevate a basic white button down (any color really) when added to the collar. I like a collar that stands up, I like the structured look, so I always double sticky tape my collars, so I am not actually using these to hold the collar in place, so I can't say if these are strong enough to hold a collar, but in this situation, they are the perfect addition. 100% would buy again!!

I tried these on myself but the ultimate intention was to give them as a gift to someone without pierced ears. For me, it's a hard no. Bear in mind I'm an entire human who already has holes in her ears, so I'm not accustomed to magnetics or clip-ons or any of the other non-pierced earring options floating around these days. These were not comfortable to me. The magnet is certainly strong and probably far less likely than other options to get lost, but I wore them for less than 5 minutes and when I took them off there was a very defined little circle where they had been. I also felt them the entire time I had them on. Full disclosure: I also have sensory issues, so it's entirely reasonable to expect that non-sensory folk could tune out the feeling once they've been on for a few minutes.The description says cultured pearl, but it doesn't specify what kind. The shape is a bit odd for true cultured pearls, especially at the base of the earring. They don't have the texture I'm looking for to confirm that they're actual cultured pearls, either. They're far too smooth. They're not plastic smooth, but there's certainly not a layer of nacre to speak of. They may be shell pearls, which are NOT cultured pearls. (Shell pearls are basically made from ground mother of pearl, which is the lining of a pearl-producing mollusk.) At the price, true cultured pearls would be what I'd call highly unlikely, so these folks need to update the listing to provide their buyers with full and accurate information. Until and unless that happens, I can't recommend these simply on principle - though again, the price is certainly not inappropriate for shell pearls.

These pearl earrings are very cute and are much more comfortable than standard clip ons. I don't have pierced ears, but I do like to dress up occasionally for festive events. While regular clip ons can become very uncomfortable (down right painful at times), I have found these to last through a nice evening out with no problems. The magnets are very tiny, so take care not to drop them. They would be very easy to lose. These look nice for costume jewelry and I am very pleased with them.
