One of my many hobbies is singing, and I was blessed with the opportunity to sing a solo operatic-style aria in our county's Christmas concert. I was looking for a pair of drop-down pearls to wear, but unfortunately, this didn't quite work for me. For one, the pictures do not quite indicate how large these earrings are - I was able to measure them with my local jeweler, and the drop-down pearls are 9.84 mm in diameter with the smallest pair of studs being 5.79 mm - the chain I got to borrow from my grandma had 5-7 mm pearls, so the hang-downs were much too large (please look up additional images of these sizes for reference). If the pearls had been smaller and more delicate, they could have possibly passed for being genuine (the seller says they are real, but they look fake), as they do have a luster comparable to real pearls even if their undertone is cooler. The metal itself was very sturdy, and I didn't have any trouble with the clasps or earring backs. Overall, this is quality for the price, maybe a good gift for yourself and two girlfriends or nieces as a starter jewelry, but this doesn't have the elegance I was looking for.

I've been wearing these pearl drop hoops for over a month now and I really like them! They are very comfortable to wear as the hoop is a "huggie" that doesn't have any sharp edges that can poke you. I've worn these the bed as well and don't notice them at all. They are very light and the only time I feel them is if they swing around. They also haven't bothered my ears and I have a really severe nickel allergy so I really appreciate finding a pair that doesn't bother my ears for a reasonable price.

This is a very nice basic, classic set of pear look earrings. They wear well and are hypoallerginic. Trust me, my ears would've broken out if they weren't nickel-free.
