These are beautiful earrings. They are about 1/2 in. in diameter so they just fit over the earlobe. The pearls are small but very beautiful. I am really impressed with these earrings for the price and can be worn for dress or casual occasions They would have been even better if I could have gotten them open. One earring would not come apart and the other did open before I put it into my ear and then I couldn't get it apart. My husband had to pull it open for me. I read the little insert that comes with the earrings finally which instructs on how to adjust the tightness of the post. I did adjust the angle of the post which made the earrings open and close much easier. It did take several attempts to get the angle correct and now they are fine. The post cannot be moved too much back and forth because it will break but gentle movement does move it sufficiently. I truly love these little guys. Bought another pair for a spare because I like them so much. I am very happy with this purchase and did order another style from this company. I am a happy camper.

My girlfriend and I dined at an award-winning restaurant and I wore these very elegant earrings. I paired them with a stylish necklace, also faux jewelry. Many of the ladies in the restaurant I'm sure were wearing jewelry worth tens of thousands of dollars. I found these earrings to be absolutely stunning and a perfect size as well. I just love them! And my ears are very sensitive, normally I wear solid gold earrings. These earrings did not irritate my ears at all but were extremely comfortable, I even forgot I had them on.

Overall just okay on quality. The design is cute but the dangling emeralds just immediately turns to the side (not facing the front like they look in the picture) which spoils the piece. The baroque pearls have some small flaws and dull areas on them, which is not unexpected but of note. The gems have some small scratches on them and the plating is slightly rough.
