Overall very pleased with these to have as an everyday kind of pearl drop. The description says "bread round", so please note that that shape is a slightly flattened pearl - also called a button pearl. The pearls themselves looked very nice (I got pink and they look pretty much like the photos) and the posts were stamped 925, so presumably authentic metal. I got the gold version, which I assume is gold plated. My only minor complaint is that the way the hooks were bent, one looked longer than the other; in other words, they were not bent/looped symmetrically, causing one of the pearls to look just slightly lower when they are in the ears. Considering the ridiculously low price of these, I'm not going to complain about that. I might take to a jeweler to have them bend them to match, as I would worry I would snap them trying to do it myself.

Disappointed. The pearls are not perfectly round, and they are not purple like the picture. They are a tarnished looking silver color. Junk! Misleading description.
