These are so inexpensive but they have that one flaw that makes them "not such a deal". The connection is not able to latch securely when you put them on. I already sent 1 pair back for another. The new one will stay on but it is clear that it is so weak that eventually the earrings will fail. They are the type of earring that will just fall off when this happens. There is no other way to secure them. Please make these so the front prong goes into a "designated" hole and latches. It is hard to find the hole and sometimes they latch and other times it seems that one does not. Very unpredictable. A flaw in the design for a truly beautiful earring

This set of Ufist dangling earrings with a loose knot design at the top provides a touch of interest beyond the unique shapes of the two 6mm freshwater pearls linked and dangling below on each earring. These freshwater pearls have some of the pinkish, light purple luster which I have come to associate with most of this type of pearl and the knot serves to balance the two pearls into a nice dangle. A little change of light and you have a different iridescent hue in those dangling orbs. The white gold plating on the knot and interconnecting links has a very high reflective gloss. My personal preference would be a slight reduction in the gloss to a high luster because to me that looks like high value rather than bling. That is my own opinion and yours may well be different. These earrings are made robustly and with basic care for the pearls they should serve you well for a long time. Upon opening the the protective carton I discovered that the post on one earring had been bent down at a 35 degree angle. (See photo) That did not happen in the current shipping package but at some time earlier in the manufacturing of the earring. I chose to straighten it rather than immediately return it for replacement and was able to do so safely. It took a significant amount of force to bend it back to it's original straight shape, and that is why I say it was not damaged in the current packaging. It is strong, and as such will not have any tendency to deform or bend during installation, use or removal and cleaning. That problem exists with some earrings made using a softer base metal but should not occur with these. Surely you will knot pass these up!

I received my earrings, and they look gorgeous; because of the price, I expected a tiny little dangle, but I am surprised how lovely the size harmonizes with the design. The packaging is also worth mentioning, and there is an extra set of butterfly backs in a small pouch bag.
