I'll be wearing my "You are SAFE with me" lapel pins everywhere. The message speaks for me, loud and clear.These pins remind me of the nonviolent bystander intervention training, based on the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that I took a few years ago and have since had a number of occasions to put into practice. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for enough good men to do nothing" -- attr. Edmund Burke. My lapel pins tell everyone that I will stand against injustice, prejudice, and oppression.

I'm a transwoman. My partner and daughter both wanted one of these pins to wear in solidarity. I am honored. My daughter has hers on her backpack, and my partner wears hers on her hospital badge. They are printed well, and on decent quality metal. The pin that attached to the backing does bend pretty easily, so if you're going through plastic or something, maybe make your hold ahead of time!
