These necklaces are cute, but I was disappointed to realize the shells are little larger than I'd expected (not really the fault of the listing, just my own expectations). I don't love large jewelry, so these are little more than I'm comfortable wearing myself. Individually packaged in cheap bags, so I'd removed and re-package if you want to give them as a nice gift. Chain is okay and clasp works well (with a little extra length for expanding), but the gold has a "brassy" feel that isn't ideal.
