Whatever this is, it is not surgical steel. I have very sensitive ears, I bought these to make earrings and within seconds my ears were inflamed. True surgical steel I’ve bought from many other places has never done that to me

Once I got nose ring it it took forever to get it fastened.

I usually have NO issue with my jewelry making my nose infected. I had a ring in for 3 days in my septum and my nose got to infected I could not even get the ring out. Please be mindful if you are sensitive to jewelry!
