i purchased the amethyst color. i bought this for my philtruim piercing and it fits my lip perfectly. in the package, i received 2 rings and the gem screws off- so the bar is internally threaded.

Not really worth the cost. I just got them today. One wouldn't untwist, the other one did. One the little fake gem wasn't sitting right in the hole. It popped right off when I ran my nail over it. The other I managed to get in and we'll see but I wont be getting again or replacing.
