Sapphires are known for their stunning deep blue hue, but can also occur in a variety of colors like purple, green, pink, or white. We offer both genuine and simulated sapphires. Our genuine sapphires are ideal for daily wear since they are a remarkably hard stone and register a 9 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness (a diamond is a 10).

Some clients opt for simulated stones since they are an inexpensive—yet still eye-catching—option. Our simulated sapphires come in a variety of rich colors and are visually indistinguishable from real sapphires. Whichever type of stone you choose, rest assured, with the right care, these beautiful gems will last generations.

Gemstone care instructions: clean by rinsing in warm water, then dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh abrasives or chemicals to ensure your stones remain durable for years to come.

Sapphire is the birthstone of September and is the traditional gift for 5th, 45th, and 65th wedding anniversaries. Sapphires are thought to restore balance, promote peace, and calm the mind. For centuries, sapphires have been associated with royalty. In ancient Greece and Rome, kings and queens believed blue sapphires attracted wealth and protected their owners from envy and harm.

Today, the most famous sapphires belong to Britain’s royal family. Queen Elizabeth owned—and regularly wore—many stunning sapphire brooches, and one was the inspiration for the engagement ring that Prince Charles gifted Princess Diana. Princess Diana’s sapphire ring became one of the most famous pieces of jewelry in the world. It features a massive 12-carat blue Ceylon sapphire set in 18 ct white gold, surrounded by fourteen diamonds. The ring now belongs to Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.
