This is a very large ring, and true to the size when reading the measurements. Real onyx. The only thing I didn't expect was that the onyx stone is loose inside the holder. I figured it would be set with and aproxy to hold the base. The onyx does not fall out. It just shifts when you move your hand. I like it anyway, I'm not returning it.
