316L Steel

  • Our steel jewelry is 316L surgical steel so is safe for new piercings and stretching.
  • Easy to clean and non-porous.
  • One of the most popular materials for new piercings and stretching.

Acrylic and Silicone

  • Lightweight, economical, wide variety of fun colors and styles.
  • Not normally recommended for initial piercings since it is harder to keep clean.
  • Flexible and softer so can be comfortable to wear...especially silicone.

Organic

  • Porous so should not be used in initial piercings and stretches, but this is also good as it allows the body to breathe.
  • Many gorgeous styles to choose from in wood, glass, stone, bone and horn.
  • Do not get wet, especially wood.

How long do I wait to stretch up?

Refer to the following chart for recommended times. Keep in mind everyone is different and you do not want to go faster than your body will allow. Don't size up if you notice any swelling or irritation.

  • 14g to 12g - 1 month
  • 12g to 10g - 1 month
  • 10g to 8g - 2 months
  • 8g to 6g - 3 months
  • 6g to 4g - 3 months
  • 4g to 2g - 3 months
  • 2g and up - 4 months

EAR STRETCHING INSTRUCTIONS

It's best to relax your ear lobes with hot water or in the shower before starting the stretching process. The stretching will probably sting, but it should not cause a lot of pain. Wash the area daily with soap and try not to touch it throughout the day to prevent infection.

Step by step stretching instructions:

  • Apply a lubricant such as Holey Butt'r, Gauge Gear or jojoba oil to the taper.
  • Take a deep breath and slowly insert the taper until the level end is in your hole (this may take a few minutes or a few hours depending on how it feels).
  • Take the plug and butt it up against the end of the taper and slowly push the taper through with the plug. Your plug should now be in and you can attach your o-ring/s.
  • All done! See the chart on the right for recommended times to wait between stretches.

These are not 16mm the measurements they list are the outside flare measurement NOT the proper measurement used by other sellers. Other than that the wood looked nice!

All kidding aside this is the best deal on wood plugs Iv come across, usually a single pair ranges from 15-40 bucks, this is three pair for the price of one. Very much gonna go through this company again for plugs very comfortable and high quality for a low price.

Very disappointed to see that the 3 sets were 3 different sizes. I ordered 2g(6mm) and got a 6mm,6.5mm and 8mm. It's a shame because they are very pretty but there is no way that 8mm is going into my ear!

Great product! Just before our son started gauging his ears he saw this set and wanted to get up to this size so that he could wear these plugs. We purchased them as soon as he could wear them and he loves them! The blonde wood does make the ear hole APPEAR a little smaller, but over all its a great product. The seller was also so helpful and fast to respond to messages!

Love them! My first pairs of wooden ones too! Came in a little early and they look great. I havent worn the darker ones yet due to reviews saying it rubs off onto your ear, im going to find a way i can get it to not do so.Woll order from provider again probably, especially with good deals like this!
