I purchased 4mm and 5mm. Love that the silver are unplated titanium. The titanium is actually impressively well polished but it won’t be as brilliant as say a sterling silver but very nice. As for the crystals, they are brilliant. These are the AB, clear crystal and Aquamarine. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of color of the Aqua. The posts and earrings are very sturdy and the posts don’t bend. Now for the backings. They are too tight. That said, I use rubber backing because they are just more comfortable. You absolutely can loosen the backings. Take 2 very small needle nose pliers, insert them in to the loops of the earring backs and with a slight twist of your wrist bend each outwards. Don’t bend the loops, just the flat part. Don’t worry if you bend back too much because these backings are very strong and will not break so you can make correction. Again, just a slight bend outwards. It’s the loops on the backings that are securing the post. So you’re just releasing the tension between the two loops. See image. Hope this helps. I was nervous about trying these because I have developed a bad allergy to metals over the last few years. I had planned on buying 925 earrings but saw these listed as hypoallergenic titanium and decided to give them a try. It has been five days of 24/7 wear with zero reaction so I am pleased. The stud is tiny and perfect for a second piercing. The back is extremely tight and was a little hard to slide over the post, but once on, it holds tight and doesn't move. The titanium has a slightly darker appearance than traditional silver, but I like it. I love that the crystal is bezel set instead of prongs. I would recommend them.
