These are pretty nice studs for such a low cost. I have a sensitivity to nickel content in jewelry, as many people do, and I normally avoid very inexpensive jewelry for that reason. But I am happy I gave these a chance. I have been wearing them in my lobe piercings for more than 24 hours straight now and thus far have had zero reaction to the metal. I am comfortable saying that these do not have a noticeable nickel content.The variety of sizes in this set are really nice. Especially for those with multiple ear piercings as you can create a pretty interesting look with the gradation in sizes and matching stones.The backs on these studs are threadless and simply snap together rather than screwing together. This makes them very easy to put in and remove. However it does also make them very easy to pull out when brushing your hair or putting on/taking off headphones. Otherwise they stay in quite well.

My daughter got her ears pierced a second time this past year, so we've been slowly accumulating sets in different sizes for her. She absolutely loves the colors in this set, and also mentioned how nice of quality they are. The stones are absolutely stunning and we've had no issues with any of the stud backings as they all seem to fit securely. The flat backs are so much nicer for people who leave their earrings in at night. She also noted her hair won't get stuck on the backing either.

These are dramatic looking for those nights out, otherwise I prefer diamonds for normal wear. The gradient sizes look good when you have multiple piercings. The back just snaps on and I have only had problems with one backing “popping off” while dressing. I just switched it out with one of the others since I only use 3 pair at a tume. The one thing to note is that since the back snaps on, you cannot tighten them. If your lines are thin there will be a gap.

I was drawn to the striking, dramatic color of the stones, with black setting and associated hardware. It was likely I would prefer the larger to sizes, but was willing to experiment. I did see how they could be used with a variety of piercing, but it sure seemed also as conventional earrings -- as in"Black stud earrings" included in the Amazon listing title .... however, the backing "nut" cannot be slid down the post to secure behind an earlobe and, while the backing is secure the "earring" droops down from earlobe. The item description should be re-worded to make clear that these are intended for different types of piercings than conventional earrings.

These are a nice set of earrings.  I agree with some of the reviews that they may be more designed for cartilage piercings as the backs do not snuggle up to your earlobe like a regular backed earing.  They are however, very stylish. I received the black set, and while not as snug as I would like, they to not hang excessively, and I like the look of the dark stones purple, green, blue, pink hue - a bit like an Alexandrite stone.  I've had them in my ears for about 2 weeks now, and have experienced no ill effects, and like how they look.

I like how these earrings can be put on like any other pair but still have a flat back like press-fit jewelry, so they're comfortable to sleep in. The variety of sizes included is nice, and they have a cool and unique look.

Arriving quickly, without damage,packaged in a way that left a lot to be desired.These earring's could have been nice, as their design concept, is actually stunning,when viewed on their web page.Unfortunately looks can be deceiving.Manufactured with a poorly designed clasping mechanism, that is supposed to prevent getting poked,however is nonfunctional as it doesn't securely attach to the gem,leaving a gap causing the earring to droop.Concurrently these are much smaller than advertised and are overpriced in my opinion. If they were actually functional they would be more appropriate for an infant due to their small size. Unfortunately these earrings are totally inappropriate for adult use and in my opinion a total waste of money.Hopefully this vendor will take these observations into consideration,by providing items that function well and match their advertised description. In my opinion less is more. I would have prefered to receive just one decent pair of earrings for the listed price,rather than five pairs of useless ones.

I got these surgical steel with push-on flat backs because my ears have gotten thinner as I lost weight and my screw back earrings no longer fit. These earrings are indistinguishable from silver and they don't sag like my others; the CZ stones are brilliant, especially in the sunlight, and the earrings look beautiful. I know I don't have to worry about allergies like I would with electroplated brass or rhodium finished silver, they are unnoticeable while I'm sleeping, and 5 pairs give me more ways to mix and match them in my 6 piercings. Excellent product!
