I really wanted to love these and they are beautifully made and fit nicely. However, after only a week I noticed my nipples and areola getting sore and painful. My husband pointed out that the black coating was coming off. When I went to my dermatologist for the inflammation I brought the jewelry and he stated it was nickel beneath the coating. I only was able to wear one pair and had them in about a week before this occurred and sadly can not wear them due to the coating chipping away and having irritation from the underlying material. I've had my piercings almost 20 years and it's so hard to find nice jewelry that doesn't do this. I'm sad that I have to throw the rest away to not further inflame my area and hope some day a company can find a way to prevent this from happening. I still don't see mentioned in description where it states that they are coated nickel and this should be stated as so many people have a sensitivity to this. It is a waste of money to buy a product that causes so much harm you have to throw it out as returning would only risk someone else being affected.

The fit is a smaller bar but that’s what I like! They are the cutest I’ve ever owned BTW. The drop gem on one pair is my absolute fav they feel so natural like not there AND NEVER get caught up on anything! Recommend 100%
