I have worn several different types of wooden gauges. not sure what kind of wood these are but my ears reacted really badly, swelling, hot, red, and my skin began to tear from the swelling so then it got infected.Size was correct and the style is great. I'm just not sure if they are safe.

These are awesome. I got a lot of compliments on them. I take them out before bed and my shower. However, one of the skull heads popped off. Can't glue it back on because I have no idea when it actually fell off
