So first, i am gonna say I love these. The posts aren't too long, the back stays securely in place, and the metal is versatile.But here are some things I have to say for the unsuspecting buyer.These earrings are gauged. Not like really crazy big, and if you have had your piercing for a while, it shouldn't be too hard to get in. I would NOT recommend these for a younger kid, someone who just got their ears pierced, or someone who doesn't like the idea of having gauges. Plus side though is that the gauge is small, just a bit thicker than a normal earring post.For those with sensitive skin (I actually have an allergy to metal and have been pleasantly surprised by the lack of reaction) the roughness of the cut might bother you. I sleep in these earrings have no problems, but I can see where people with sensitive skin will not appreciate the cut.For people with long hair, these will catch you hair similarly, but most likely a bit less than regular earrings. My hair to too short to have any help with knowing if it will or won't.But overall, for what I was looking for, these items are exactly as described, and comfortable to boot!

Awesome! They look really cool in, and they're really comfortable to leave in for days at a time. Yes, they do snag a little sometimes on longer hair, but not enough to really bother me... until one of them fell apart.It wasn't like I was messing with it at the time, I just glanced in the mirror one day and realized to my horror that the star was gone. I later found the lost star on the floor at home. For all I can tell, whatever had been holding the star to its post just gave up and let go. I tried gluing it back together with apoxy but no go. Not enough surface area to work.I'll give it another shot because I really like the style, but seems like a scenario of "you get what you pay for". At least I have a backup in case one of the new ones decide to split, too.

I've been wearing these day and night for the last week with no trouble or irritation. I was afraid they might poke my skin or catch my hair, but so far they have been minimally troublesome.I think the size is perfect and the studs are long enough for me. The diameter of the post is larger than I'm used to wearing, and my ears have been re-pierced, so it was hard getting them through at first.I love the comfortable screw-on backs!! They are very secure. I check them throughout the day, but they've never once needed tightening.

They look great and aren't cheap quality in the slightest. The stars are a little bit pointy which can make adjusting them annoying, plus I learned quickly that if you wear big headphones, they are somewhat painful. They don't snag as much as I thought they would, so they are good to sleep in and wear all the time.

I used to have my ears gauged but I stopped and my ears never shrunk back to it's original size which was expected. I was looking for earrings with a screw back so that they don't fall out without my knowledge and these have been perfect. I sometimes forget I still have them on when I go to bed. I would definitely get more.
