The listing says Stainless Steel, and this is clearly chrome over copper. Don't LIE. Anyway, these aren't meant for a regular piercing; the wire is way too thick to fit in your ear. I bought them to hang through my silicone tunnel, but I had to re-shape them, because the bend wasn't wide enough, and they hung sideways. 🙄I left one hanging in my ear for a little while, when I noticed it had worn to almost straight copper on the end! I know they weren't expensive, and I expected the shine to come off, but not copper underneath! These are absolute trash, and only good for a few wears. I couldn't find any other safety pins earrings big enough to go through my tunnels, so I'm irritated that this is what I ended up with. Ew.

I was pleased with the purchase but after a month or so of wearing these earrings I started noticing some light discoloration that thought could be cleaned but unfortunately, the material is not stainless steel. Very unfortunate as I really liked them, description is plain deceptive…

I LOVE these earrings. Get compliments on them all the time. But it’s only been 4 months and they are turning brownish. So absolutely NOT stainless steel. I do see in the description that it says “stainless steel OR alloy” Or. I guess I should have read everything better but I find that to be a little tricky. Very disappointed.
