There's something about mechanical watches that makes me want to wax poetic; how they tell time with no batteries, no crystals, no transistors, not even electricity. Just little bits of shaped metal.This is a very large watch; very heavy as well. It's got a very strong look; not loud, but a distinctive, old-school presence. Everything of course fits together nicely; the dial and crown move with the right amount of resistance, it keeps good time.I do wish the window into the mechanism was larger than the small one given; but beyond that, no complaints. Absolutely classic and retro.
