This pendant is very pretty, but the chain is a bit cheap and flimsy. The pendant is shiny and looks great. It's well made and my daughter thought it looked like a fun "Harry Potter" lightening bolt, which she really loved. We ended up putting it on a better chain, as after the first wear, the chain it came on broke.
