My ears have gotten more sensitive over the years, and everything from brass to sterling silver to 14k gold can make my ears itchy and swollen.But these stainless steel earrings cause zero reaction. They’re pretty, durable (you can get them wet), and stylish. The value is unbeatable. There’s a mainstream, modern jewelry brand selling flat-back earrings for like $60 a PAIR, so when I found these on Amazon, I knew I’d hit the jackpot.The flat backs mean nothing pokes you behind the ear when you’re laying down. They screw on to the posts and are very secure. The only downside is that it took some effort to get them into piercings that hadn’t had an earring in them for awhile. The posts are pretty blunt, and my piercings had temporarily shrunk, so it took some work. But you can leave them in around the clock, no irritation, so it was worth it. Highly recommend.

Impressed with the overall feel of these earrings. They are really sturdy. No chips or warped shapes. They arrived in a nice box and were packaged in a few different small bags. They are a really nice variety, and are relatively easy to put in, as long as your fingers are clean and not oily from touching your skin.Only note is that the larger cartilage earrings (the ones with 5 gems each and a ball back) seem to be about a gauge bigger than the rest of the flat backs. For me, it was okay because my cartilage piercing is one of the longest I’ve had (almost 20 years) so it beyond healed and was easy to slightly stretch without pain. Just note if you have fresh piercings, I wouldn’t recommend relying on these being a teeny bit bigger.

Super cute earrings with many to choose from! The hoops were very small but that didn’t bother me much. I purchased these for the other earrings. Definitely a great purchase!

I was looking for flat-backed earrings that I could put in and leave in because I'm too lazy to change out my earrings every day. I got this set because I figured there'd be some in there I'd like, among all of the various shapes and whatnot. I was looking for small, but these things are TINY! It's not bad, just very much on the "dainty" side.I hadn't worn earrings in a few months, so it took a little work to get them through the holes. Some of the earring backs were VERY hard to get off. One earring required tweezers. (I thought I was going to have to look for some super tiny pliers, but it finally gave way with the tweezers--you know, the really good tweezers that you have to use for the chin hairs you can only feel but can't see.)I actually ended up putting hoops in my second holes--which wasn't my original intent, but they were cute, so I thought I'd try it. They don't clasp shut, so I do find that they catch on my hair (and, in one case, a mask loop), but it's not terrible. I'm going to keep wearing them and see how it goes. I may end up switching to hoops for the primary holes, too. I'm glad the set came with options that way.As for the flat backs, they're exactly what I wanted, so that I can sleep with them on and not feel the posts poking me. And I think I screwed them in pretty tightly, so I imagine they'll stay put. If that changes, I'll update my review.All in all, I'm satisfied with my purchase. They're fine for a set of cheap earrings. Nothing super fancy, nothing wrong with them, which is why they get three stars.

These earrings are life-changing! Not kidding… I no longer have to deal with the discomfort of normal earrings bothering me at night while I sleep on my side. I don’t even realize these are there! Great quality and they keep your earring from just popping off when I’m in the shower or brushing my hair, etc… would definitely repurchase!

I love these. I have a hard time finding hypo allergenic earrings for my cartilage (I have very sensitive ears). The earrings are a great quality, and they don’t hurt when I sleep. Backings are super easy to put in and don’t stick out too much. I would definitely recommend these!!
