This is my 2nd ring from Peora, they're becoming a fast favorite of mine.....literally too, it has come early both times.Okay....so the picture shows a very striking, very vibrant purple ring. This is my 1st introduction to Alexandrite, but I am and was aware it is suppose to change colors. What I wasn't expecting, was to open the standard Peora adorable box and the matching swanky little satin pouch to find a bright Caribbean greenish teal stone! With my brow furrowed, I started to walk through my whole house to get out front where there is a little bit of setting sun left to try and see what the direct rays will do to it. As I start to walk I'm thinking "I don't know about this......" as I walk through the different lighting of each room I see it go from that caribbean teal to blue to pink to purple to gray to pink and purple again and then I got back outside to where it exploded when the sun hit it in the original teal. Like another reviewer said, it is set very high and unobstructed so you get thee most brilliant fire. It does seem that when mine is in normal daytime light it is going to look teal, not purple, but that is ok by me, all it took was a walk theough several lighting changes to know this baby ain't ever comin off!! LOL. It came with a 'Do not break this tag or else you can't return it......' When I very 1st read it I thought "Oh better be careful with that" then after my walk through the house I promptly ripped it off. This is NOT going back.I'm definitely going to get more Alexandrite, its very neat. I'm thinking of ordering another identical ring for back up and out of curiousity if it will be purple in normal light. I think only one other review said theirs was greenish blue not purple so it may just be how it goes with this kind of stone, I don't know. What I do know is that I highly recommend Peora and this gorgeous ring!!

I absolutely love this ring. It looks much more expensive than it is. The build and finish is high quality. I ordered a 7 and it is exactly a size 7. The color range is fantastic and deeply vibrant. Colors include spring green under an iPhone flashlight, indigo blue with teal highlights in fluorescent light and outside on cloudy days, royal purple in incandescent light, fuchsia pink in bright sunlight. You will find yourself staring at your hand as you walk around :-)

Color change is pretty good. Size and shape are really nice. The band is a little thin so, it feels kinda cheap. I've worn it at work a few times, still looks okay. I would give it 5 stars if it was a little thicker.

Beautiful ring. The stone is a gorgeous colon and not cloudy. The setting is sturdy and the stones underneath are large enough to sparkle. I purchased this for myself for a small birthday present and I was really surprised at the quality! Comfortable fit and true to size.
