The bead popped out of my captive and I'm too clumsy to put it back in, so I needed a substitute until I'm able to see my piercer for help. That was months ago and I'm still just wearing this ring.Easy to put in, easy to take out, and I can verify it's definitely nickel-free. It's so light and comfortable, I truly don't feel like it's there until I start playing with it. The hinge closes snugly with no hairline gaps, so there is nowhere for septum funk to propagate and ruin your day, as is a risk with poorly made septum jewelry, but no issues here!Overall, a nice little piece of everyday wear jewelry for a nice little price.

Rose gold. Size 16 for a subtle look (septum piercing). Quality is great. It’s been a few months and still no signs of tarnishing. Little QZs all still intact. Comfortable. Easy opening makes it a cinch to put on and switch out.

I got this for my conch piercing (inner ear) and it fits great and looks really nice. I previously had a bar in but the back would hit my skull while sleeping sometimes and would leave my ear fairly sore. This no longer happens with this hoop.

I discovered this the hard way - one ring (I bought one for each daith piercing) fell out while I was sleeping. Make sure when you close the loop together, you don't stop squeezing it until you hear it snap together. It will go quite a ways and you'll think it's snug, but until you hear it full-on snap, it's not locked in. On the bright side, that makes it really secure once it is snapped in - I've tugged on them, gotten my hair caught, other kinds of things that would've pulled open other kinds I've had, and these didn't budge. (Had a bit of trouble getting one open in the first place, but I used a pair of tweezers to get leverage on it, so if you're having trouble, might be worth a try.) I'm happy enough with these that I will likely buy again in other colors when I'm ready for a new look - I don't change my jewelry frequently so I'm willing to put up with a bit of struggle getting them open again if I know they won't open accidentally, but if you change yours every day/to match your outfits, that kind of thing, these may be too stubborn for you.

I have had a nose ring for 6 years. I have changed my piercing out multiple times with various l-shapes, screws, and rings. I have never had a ring break on me when opening it (yes I know how to open an insert it properly) until today. The lines were almost non-existent on the 20g black ring and when I finally found it and gently started to move the ring, the arm snapped. I was very disappointed. Do not waste your money, shop elsewhere.
