I sized up from specifically to buy these in the size they had in stock- no regrets. I was surprised how lightweight they feel since it’s definitely sturdy metal and real agate stone slices. That was especially a concern since I was sizing up and changing into these asap and didn’t want any added irritation from a heavy piece of jewelry :) I’ve slept and showered multiple times in them (accidentally) and no sign of discoloration of either the metal or my lobes. I haven’t found dangly earrings that worked for me since I gauged my ears 10 years ago so, I’m overall very happy with them and plan to wear them both casually and to more formal events! For example, this photo is me at my office, I also plan to wear them to my sister’s wedding- maybe even my own!

I wanted weighted gauges to see if I can stretch my ears enough to wear double flairs, and turns out I can't; cause I'm just that special ( ugh! Just my luck). Doesn't matter, tho, cause I love these for how they look, how they feel, and just because!!! Just don't swing your head too much wearing these, you might jab yourself with the spikes; tho true damage is unlikely cause it was designed so well.
