This pendant is so versatile. It’s would be a fun gift, especially when you’ve shared a memorable experience because you can add a special something to the cage as a reminder of the occasion.I only wish it had been available years ago when we were making our annual Girls’ Trip to different states. It would have become an adventure to find that special something on the trip that we would all share and reminisce about later. Sigh . . .Anyway, back to the pendant. I was a little disappointed they didn’t send the beautiful colored pearls pictured in the listing (although in the video the pastels are shown). It’s what caught my eye but in fairness, the pastels are pretty. I probably would have had more use for the darker ones but, oh well. Not a deal breaker. I was pleasantly surprised the cage is ~1 1/8” in diameter [edge-to-edge]. It’s quite a bit bigger than expected and the depth when screwed together is ~½”. They create a decent size well for adding your choice of inserts. I can imagine sand/seashells from a beach trip, a lock of hair/fur from a beloved, charms, crystal beads, a puzzle piece, etc. So many choices and plenty of room for most things. You get a nice seal when the pieces are screwed together. Included is a coordinating stainless steel chain that’s ~18” long + ~2.75” of additional rings to allow for slight length adjustments. The chain is very attractive and not what I was expecting. It’s a series of small rings attached to each other, alternating vertically/horizontally. I can’t get a good picture but it’s NOT your typical ball chain.Overall, I really like this pendant. It’s something I will use for more casual wear. Your options for inserts are limited only by your imagination. It’s fun and would be something a little girl (or big girl) would really enjoy! It comes nicely packaged and is definitely gift-worthy. The price point is surprisingly good!

This is such a unique piece of jewelry and I’m really happy I selected it for myself. I’m not sure what type of metal was used for the chain nor the pendant but it doesn’t look cheap and appears sturdy. The chain itself is small circles linked to one another and is on the thicker side and probably 18” in length with a 3” extender. The smaller lobster claw clasp used was a bit difficult to fasten by myself. Due to the size of the pendant a thicker chain would look best and this one fits the bill. However, also due to the large size of the pendant, I would’ve preferred a slightly longer style chain. The pendant is round, quite deep with a round bale and screws together. Pastel green, pink and yellow “pearls” came inside this one but per description the colors you would receive is random. I plan on putting my own item(s) in mine as I don’t wear pastels. I’ve seen people have a ring that once belonged to a loved one and they sometimes wear it on a chain as a necklace because it doesn’t fit their finger. I think a ring like that would be perfect in this pendant but the options are literally endless. A small dried flower would look pretty or a rare coin would be interesting and you wouldn’t have to go to the expense of having it set in order to wear it. Crystals would look pretty or a special trinket would also work. Just know you’re not locked in to only the pearls that came with the pendant. The necklace and pendant came in separate ziplock bags within a box that looks like it has a drawer that sides in and out. This box would be perfect to wrap up and present as a gift. This is definitely an item you’re probably not going to see anyone else wearing and I can see it being a conversation starter. This is an item I definitely recommend because of its quality, possibilities and value.

I love this little locket. It unscrews so you can add and remove the contents of the locket as you please. Add some crystals, tiny trinkets, a bird feather, or even a lock of hair. What you add to the locket is completely up to you and you can change it every time you wear it or keep it the same once you set it up. It's really a great conversation starter and allows you to carry and display items that are meaningful to you or items to match your mood or outfit.

When I first got this I immediately opened it and took out those fake pearls. Got rid of the fake pearls.The necklace pendant is nice, good quality, no visible imperfections. It twisted open and closed easily, there’s also a fair bit of space inside to put whatever you want. Right now I filled mine up with tiny rocks but I’ll be looking for other small items to encase in this necklace soon. I am happy with the quality of this product and its style. Very cute and creative! Would recommend

I’ve had no direct contact with Amazon Vine or the manufacturer and these opinions are my own.My wife traded out the pearls for her locket charms (from a flimsier locket that has since bit the dust), and this locket feels very sturdy. She likes that it can't be accidentally opened.

The colors in the necklace aren’t customizable. You get what you get. Mine are all pastel and look like Easter. The pendant is large and chunky. It does come with a nice, giftable box.
