Terribly frustrating to put on by yourself! The "choker" (which needs to be able to go about 1/4 to a half an inch smaller...mine lays like a necklace not so much a choker) will not lay flat against the skin, kinks and spins in ways that look ridiculous and stand out as flaws while on. You need someone to fasten it for you and pull it taut...if you want to put it on yourself (clasping it backwards under your chin so you can see in the mirror, when you then spin it around all the little pieces go awry). If you're like me you'll find yourself "starting over 7x" trying to put it on perfectly by yourself...and then you'll throw it across the room and have your man help you out. Love him...but jesus...I should be able to put a necklace on by myself!

I ordered these for my teen daughter. Neither choker fits well as expected--they are a little too long to be a typical choker and too short to lie flat as a necklace. They are cute in design, but they are not quite what I want when worn.
