I got these because my body started attempting to reject an old navel piercing and I wanted a style that wouldn't tug on my sin or get snagged on my clothing. These lay perfectly against my skin, the post is the perfect length (I got the 12mm), and they don't lean to one side like a ring or horseshoe style would. They do take a bit of work to get open for removal, but I consider that a positive feature. I highly recommend these!

**UPDATE** it started to tarnish and made a small irritated area on my skin under the top part. Then it turned into a small ulcer, it was open,worsening and it hurt bad. Had to use special wound wash and change back to my old barbell made from surgical steel and the ulcerated area is healing now but I'll have a scar. This metal is not good metal. They went straight into the garbage**t's comfortable and small. Don't even know it's there. My pants don't get stuck on it.

DISCLAIMER: My navel was pierced unprofessionally and was done by myself!! I love these belly button rings, but the bars seem to be very curved and are a bit long. They seem better for deeper belly button piercings or ones that are still in the process of healing, like if they're swollen.
